John 12:23–26
23And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 24Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world keep it unto life eternal. 26If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
The seed referred to here is the Holy Spirit that was given to fulfill the last story when the Gentiles came to Jesus. The Holy Spirit is only the down payment. The difference between the down payment and the full payment must come. You must “die” to the down payment life that you were given and you must allowed God to bring forth the rest of the payment. Ephesians 1:13-14
13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14Which is the earnest (down payment) of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Revelation 3:1
1And unto the angel of the church in Sardis (5th Church) write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

Revelation 5:6
5And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

The Holy Spirit is only the first payment (down payment) of the full seven spirits of God revealed to John in the Book of Revelation. When Jesus talks about a seed that has life in it falling to the ground and dying so the fullness can come forth, He is prophesying to the life of the Holy Spirit compared to the full Seven Spirits of God.

You can’t believe this right now, but this story is prophesying that something fulfilling the Holy Spirit must arrive in the future. Whatever that “something” is, it will perfectly and completely fulfill what the Holy Spirit started, just like a seed must die and then a tree completes that seed.

That something is the Seven Spirits of God.
