46 But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done. 		Witnesses to the resurrection of Lazarus go back to tell the religious leaders all that happened. John 20:18
18Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her. 		The witness to the resurrection of Jesus goes back to tell the “soon-to-be” religious leaders all that happened. Jesus is using the people who witnessed Lazarus’ resurrection as the next part of the story that will be fulfilled. The witnesses return to the leaders in both stories.
