John 10:7-10
7Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

8All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

9I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The Jews don’t understand what was just said.

Jesus is the door.

The sheep did not hear the thieves and robbers.

Jesus will lead His people and they will be saved.

The thief will lead to death.

Jesus is the good shepherd, and giveth His live for the sheep.
John 19:1-6
1Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. 2And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, 3And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands. 4Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him. 5Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!
6When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.

Pilate take Jesus back in “the door” to scourge Him and dresses Him up like a King. Hail the King of the Jews. Pilate again finds no fault in Jesus, then takes Him out “the door” to the Jews.

The Jews still want the thief (Barabbas) released to them and they want Jesus crucified.

Pilate relents and tells the Jews to take Jesus and crucify Him because Pilate can’t do it because he finds no fault in Jesus.

The Jesus explain the Jesus’ fault is making Himself the Son of God.

Pilate was afraid at that point and went back into the Judgement hall is He really the Son of God.

Jesus stays quiet at this point.
Jesus is fixing the wrong choices that the Jews will make. In other words, He is telling them what to do in advance but they will do the opposite.

Jesus goes in and out of “the door” to the Judgement hall.

The non-Jew (Pilate) is the one who finds no fault in Jesus.

The thief is chosen for life and Jesus is chose for death, but the thief will bring death and Jesus will bring life.
