Exodus 1:22
22And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.

Pharaoh orders the baby sons of the Israelites to be cast into the river. He was prophesying the Egyptian’s men ultimate death by drowning. John 2:23-25
23Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. 24But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, 25And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

Jesus did not commit Himself to man that loved him at Passover because of his miracle. Jesus knew man’s heart and He is prophesying his very own death at a future Passover. The reverse takes place.

Jesus knows the heart of man even though they believe in him now; that heart will kill Him in the future. Pharaoh is scared of the number of Israelites and he gives the command to kill the male babies. Both are prophesying their own death, in one story, the one that is loved will be killed and in the other, the one that hates will be killed
